The Amazing Adventures Of FairyMaryMermaid Part Two
Ok, well not a lot has happened really, but I will make what has as interesting as possible!
Ok, well there is a little that can top the bench experience. This week has been quiet as I am preparing myself for the next few days. I have decided that I have gone off Christmas. I have been busy at the pubs with people celebrating the good season. They get drunk and crazy and sing and drink more and there are loads of them!!!! The kids at school have gone completely crazy with the Christmas spirit. I spent yesterday covered in sequins, furry things, stickers, PVA glue and gold glitter spray! My parents have decided to make the house look like a mini grotto. We have Christmas trees and lights outside for the world to see. But in side we have the smallest tree in the world? I have no idea why as we normally have a big one! It even has the original fairy on top, so she looks huge and is practically sat over half of it. Obviously my family aren't expecting Father Christmas to bring a lot this year. They must all be like me!
I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet, every time I go into town I end up spending all the money on me!!! Well I have a lot of nice new stuff, but that’s it. Now I am aware that I am running out of time. Well there is no where to put the presents anyway so that’s my excuse.
Ok one thing happened on Sunday. I had to run a christening, a kids party and the Christmas raffle at work. Fair enough, I can handle all those people. But I was lucky to get some help in the form of a work colleague. Well half way through the evening, just before I was planning on going home, he decided to beat up the customers. So off he went and half the pub. I carried on as normal as best I could with the hundreds of people I still had in the pub. Anyway he came back as he was calmed down and was brought a drink! Then another one and another one! He never came back behind the bar, so that was it I was left abandoned! I think next time I should kick off and beat up the customers then I can get drunk for free and not have to work!!!! I never finished till midnight, so ended up doing 12 hours on the busiest Sunday of the year on my own!!! Well I am good at my job!
I went into town to attempt some shopping but all I got was some sequins and PVA glue! What is the matter with me? At least one good thing came out of my trip. I actually went down an escalator!!! I haven't been able to go down for years. Up isn't a problem, but going down fills me with dread! I realised that my life’s ambitions may be suppressed with my inability to go down. With the support of my friend I did it! She held my hand and guided me and all was good!
Well that’s all really. Bit of a boring week. My next big night is Thursday so i will report back soon! I'm sure that night will be very interesting…
