The Always Fabulous Detroit Lions Season Preview Show
September 7, 2011So the new season wasn’t wiped out by the lockout and come early Friday morning, the NFL will be back on our screens as if nothing happened. So much optimism to look forward to is certainly a feeling not exclusive to our transatlantic cousins, unless you happen to be like me and follow the Detroit Lions, wherein that feel good vibe a new season brings is usually annihilated inside the first quarter of the first game. So will this season be any different?

Saturday Morning Shitpost: The Old New Old Gang
September 3, 2011It was a meaningless comment thrown up on Facebook prompted by a drunk MSN conversation on a Friday night: “I miss the old gang (sad smiley face)”. A friend commented that he too missed the old gang but I quickly rebuked him that that old gang wasn’t the old gang I was missing. It was my old WoW guild, or more specifically the people I played with, and the game’s just not been that much fun ever since.
